Himachal Pradesh is one of the most beautiful states of India. It is endowed with the copious natural beauty, which appeals tourists from all over the world. Nainital is colder than the rest of the hilly area of Kumaon region. During the monsoon, Nainital gets heavy rainfall. The atmosphere, therefore, is wet. The nearest areas of Almora and Ranikhet are heater than Nainital. Humidity in Nainital is less than in other hill stations. The monthly highest and lowest temperature of the town ranged between 27.06 degree C and 8.06 degree C.

Chikhaldhara is also a paradise for wildlife enthusiasts. It has one of the well known national parks of India known as Gugumal National Park and a natural abode for Indian Tigers named as Melaghat Tiger Reserve. These natural habitats are home to numerous wildlife species such as Tiger, Crocodile, Bison, Gawa, Neelgai, Wild deer, Sambar and a host of migratory birds. And to showcase these beauties of Chikhaldhara to world, Maharashtra Tourism Board, every year organizes Chikhaldhara festival.

States like Jammu & Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh, and Uttaranchal etc. are dotted with countless mountain ranges, pilgrimages and historical attractions. This way, a number of theme based tours are conducted here throughout the year. Places like Kashmir, Nainital, Manali, Mussoorie, Shimla, Dharamshala, Dalhousie, Khajjiar, Chamba, Lahaul Spiti, Ranikhet etc. are popular since the British era and are frequently visited by travellers even today with the same enthusiasm.

Shimla sounds soothing, when to comes to traveling hill-stations in North India. Located at an altitude of 2, 196 meters, the place is surrounded with tall pine, oak,cedar and thick rhododendron forests. Being situated in the lower Himalayan ranges, the place is highly favored for holidaying during summer season. Also, a visit during winter season offers the beauty of snow-clad mountains, trees and meadows. Attractions like Lakkad Bazaar, St. Michael's, Tara Devi Temple, The Ridge etc attracts tourist from far and wide.

Chopta is a picturesque hill station located on the Gopeshwar-Ukhimath Road about 40 kms. from Gopeshwar in the Garhwal region. It is perched at an altitude of about 2,900 m above sea level. This tiny hill station is enriched with some beautiful tourist attractions such as Kedarnath Wildlife Sanctuary, Tungnath Shiv Temple, Gopeshwar, Kanchula Korak Musk deer sanctuary, Ukhimath etc. This beautiful place is decorated with alpine vegetation, orchids, and many high altitude vegetations.
